Getting started

Scrims → External Calendar

Each calendar in Scrims is a separate entity (that can have sub-calendar and other goodies like Welcome message, chats and/or availability slots).

To synchronize Scrims calendar events with external calendars (like Google calendar or Discord events) you must connect your Scrims calendar with external calendars via the integrations settings separately. This gives you more control on which calendar you want to synchronize and when.

Once an integration account is connected and a calendar is selected to synchronize, if there were any existing events in your Scrims calendar they will be populated in the connected external calendar.

Note that when connecting your integration account for the first time, the integration settings will ask if you want to import all existing calendars and their events into Scrims. This can help you save time if you want to manage all your external calendars from the Scrims interface and don't want to connect them 1by1.

Once the connection is made with an external calendar, all events will synchronize two ways back and forth, where for example, updating an event on Google calendar will update this event on Scrims and trigger related workflow, or changes to this event in Scrims will update the Google calendar event.
