The Financial Empowerment Virtual Conference is an interactive, engaging, and transformational virtual experience that has been designed specifically for college students who not only desire to develop their financial skills, learn how to budget, manage, save their money more effectively, and create more economic opportunities through investment, real-estate, and other wealth building strategies, but it’s an experience that has been created to answer randomly selected financial questions, highlight amazing entrepreneurs who are thriving financially, and teach college students the principles and mindset that will help them position themselves for financial success in college and beyond.

We believe this type of event is needed because after reading a report in 2019 by EVERFI that stated that only 53% of college students felt prepared to manage their money in a survey of about 30,000 college students from more than 440 schools across the country with the rise of inflation and other economic challenges facing college students today, we felt inspired to create an interactive, engaging, transformational, and fun virtual financial experience that will empower college students with the skills and knowledge needed to experience financial success in college and beyond.

Based on our Financial Needs Assessment of about 1,000 first-generation and culturally diverse college students from colleges and universities across the country over the past year and a half, we have created a power-packed conference that has been specifically designed to help college students develop their financial literacy skills in specific areas that interests them the most.

2024 Financial Empowerment Virtual Conference For College Students

Learning Outcome: Developing The Right Attitude About Money

The Financial Empowerment Virtual Experience will begin with a live DJ and hyped emcee that will get everyone excited, provide an in-depth introduction of the program, and an interactive game that will give college students the opportunity to win cash prizes.

Following the introduction, we will have a well-known financial speaker, entrepreneur, and author share wisdom, knowledge, and insight about how they were able to attain financial success through the right habits, mindset, principles, and attitude about finances.

Learning Outcome: Establishing The Foundation For Financial Success

The second session will not only highlight four successful financial speakers, coaches, authors, and experts in an engaging and interactive conversation about managing and budgeting your money effectively as a college student, but they will also talk about saving strategies, ways to reduce debt, and answer randomly selected financial questions for college students that attend this session.

Financial Literacy Games | 3:00pm – 3:20pm

Learning Outcome: Building Your Financial Literacy In A Fun and Exciting Way

The third session will consist of a fun, interactive, and engaging experience where college students will be able to participate in a few games designed to build their knowledge about finances, with another amazing opportunity to win cash prizes during the virtual financial conference.

Financial Success Panel (Investment, Real Estate, Wealth Strategies) | 5:00pm – 6:30pm

Learning Outcome: Creating Multiple Streams of Income That Lead To Financial Success

The fourth session will not only highlight four successful entrepreneurs that are experts in real estate, stocks, fintech, and other wealth- building ventures in an engaging and interactive conversation about investments and wealth building strategies, but they will share financial insights around investments and building wealth as a college student and they will answer financial questions for college students that attend this session.

Financial Literacy Games 6:30pm – 6:50pm

Learning Outcome: Building Your Financial Literacy In A Fun and Exciting Way

The fifth session will consist of a fun, interactive, and engaging experience where college students will be able to participate in a few games that are not only designed to build their knowledge about finances but will provide them with an amazing opportunity to win cash prizes during the virtual financial conference.

Closing | Keynote Speaker | 7:00pm – 8:30pm

Learning Outcome: Creating Financial Success As A Young Professional

The closing session will not only conclude with our live DJ and hyped emcee, but this session will feature a successful and inspirational entrepreneur’s’ story on how they implemented successful wealth building strategies after graduation to make the transition from a very successful career within Corporate America to a thriving and successful business that is bringing them great success professionally and financially.
