Just a few weeks after the first edition of this course, there are already new tools and features to discuss. And more importantly, the broader implications of integrating AI in design workflows are starting to appear, something we will discuss more this time. How do you prepare for the mega-shift that is happening all around us?

The core of this interactive masterclass will still be about creating stunning and relevant conceptual designs, and other visualisations that stand out with ChatGPT-4 and custom GPT's; ready to use in your daily practice. How do you 'teach' AI what style and identity you are looking for? And how can a conversation with ChatGPT help you get more innovative results? You will receive the tools you need in order to unlock the full potential of ChatGPT-4 and DALL-E in achieving the results you need.

Although many of the examples will revolve around industrial design applications, this class will be useful to anybody looking to use AI, and especially ChatGPT-4, for high quality visuals that tell your story. No prior experience with AI visualisation, or even design experience, is needed. This is a whole new game!

Subjects of this two hour masterclass:

• the state of design-related AI tools
• general prompting techniques
• prompting techniques for high quality, more controlled imagery in the style you need
• discovering how AI can superpower your design workflow far beyond visualisation
• instructing custom GPT's for a specific identity, project or task
• combining ChatGPT's outputs with other tools like Krea and Vizcom
• AI's potential role (and impacts) in sustainability
• Bias in AI - and how to overcome it

In class, we will come up with use cases and experiment with live image creation and instructing GPT's. You will receive a pdf with the most important learnings of the workshop, so you can start applying your knowledge right away.

The class will be taught by Michiel Cornelissen, an experienced designer and creative director who has worked with companies such as Philips, Bose and Frog Design in various roles. Michiel is also a sustainability consultant, in which role he has been using the power of AI to visualise climate positive futures in projects for organisations like ASN Bank. Note: this class has a focus on using AI in the ideation phase of projects and for general visualisation. We will only touch briefly on tools that can help with more detailed, highly controlled design and visualisation.
