Thu, 25 Apr 2024 12:00:00 GMT → Fri, 26 Apr 2024 15:00:00 GMT (d=1 days, 3 hours, 0 seconds)
Overview
This 2-day workshop has been developed for industry and consulting experts in supply chain and optimization, supply chain and operations managers, and practice-oriented researchers.
In this workshop, we will discuss how digital transformation and modern supply chain technologies such as anyLogistix can help make your supply chain agile, resilient, and efficient and give a business the competitive edge to respond quickly to both disruptions and opportunities.
Agenda:
Day 1
- Part I – Understand how simulation and optimization can help modernize your supply chain in a faster and more efficient way.
- Part II – How to design and run a project for supply chain simulation and optimization.
- Q&A session.
Day 2
- Part III – Run your own simulation of supply chains. We will show you how to test efficiency and make stress tests for resilience.
- Part IV – The future of simulation: building digital supply chain twins and and human-AI collaboration.
- Q&A session.
All participants will receive certificates confirming their completion of the workshop.
Presenter
Prof. Dr. Dr. habil. Dmitry Ivanov (Berlin School of Economics and Law), award-winning scholar and thought leader in supply chain resilience and digital supply chain research – with 10 books and over 100 research papers in peer-reviewed academic journals published over the last 20 years. For over 20 years, he has taught courses in operations management, supply chain management, logistics, management information systems, and strategic management courses at undergraduate, master’s, PhD, and executive MBA levels at universities worldwide.
Prof. Ivanov is the author of the anyLogistix educational complex for supply chain optimization and simulation that is in use at more than 100 universities worldwide. This educational complex is comprised of an ALX book and an Educational Toolkit containing case studies that can be used to teach and learn anyLogistix understanding of green field analysis, network optimization, simulation, supply chain, production, inventory, and sourcing simulation, and transportation optimization both conceptually and technically.
