This tour is all about the darkest period in the history of Berlin. As we walk through the city we will be visiting numerous locations linked to the Nazi regime and its persecution of large sections of society, culminating in the horrors of the Holocaust. From buildings where terror, war and genocide were planned, to memorials to those killed by the regime and who died fighting to bring it to an end, I will be telling the important and moving stories of those years against the backdrop of the German capital.

The tour is around 75 minutes and will be preceded by a brief introductory talk about the background to the Third Reich, and the events, people and places that will be referenced on the tour. In total, the event will last for around 90 minutes.

What should I expect on an as live tour? Simply, it is a tour where I use high quality pre-recorded video footage of the tour route. It is filmed in real time not edited, so it looks and feels just like a live tour, but we are not at the mercy of weather conditions or mobile signals as when live streaming. The commentary is always one hundred percent live and interactive during the event.

The as live tour will run in Zoom. The confirmation email after purchasing contains the link you need to click on to join the tour. The recording will be a private link to the video on YouTube and will be available the day after the tour.
