Ever feel trapped in a cycle of tiresome work, wondering why creativity seems so out of reach? As a resiliency coach and ambition architect, Ginna Christensen knows firsthand that for designers, being stuck in a rut isn’t due to a lack of talent or effort—it’s often burnout that’s holding them back. And the more passionate they are, the easier it is for them to overextend, neglecting their own well-being in the process. In this intensive workshop, Christensen maps the timeline and tackles the complexities of burnout, from recognizing the signs and nipping it in the bud before it worsens to strategizing a comeback once it’s full-blown. Delve into real-life scenarios, learn the importance of self-care, and discover how prioritizing your own sustainability is the key to reigniting the creativity that’s essential to success.
In this class, attendees will learn:
- Why we experience burnout, and the valuable lessons it holds (yes, there are benefits too!)
- How to recognize the signs of burnout as they arise in work and in life
- The significant costs associated with ignoring or neglecting to heal burnout
- Effective strategies to navigate the primary challenges that hinder recovery from burnout
By the end of class, attendees will have:
- A fresh perspective on burnout, and the awareness to approach it with curiosity and resilience rather than dread
- Concrete skills to prioritize self-care and break free from the burnout cycle to enable sustainable success
- Strategies to accelerate progress toward professional goals while maintaining well-being
- Tools to ensure a 400 percent increase in the probability of creating meaningful change in work
