• And, improving one’s level in chess, of course

2 - Club description:

This Level 3 series is for players who have a reasonable knowledge of chess.

At this level players should have a good understanding of chess tactics.

They should have started to be thinking moves ahead and predicting potential moves from their opponent, leading them to preempting the protection of their own pieces in advance, as well as taking advantage of their opponent’s mistakes.

They will continue to learn more and more intricate tactics as well as working on constantly recreating the strategies based on a constantly changing environment.

The sessions will comprise of a lesson part, solving chess puzzles and, after a few sessions, the last part of the session will be dedicated to playing speed chess tournaments against one another.

We will be discussing with you the young players' progress both in chess and skills development.

3 - Age range:

4 to 17 y.o. but the knowledge and interest in playing chess and the ability to work online are more important than age in this course
