Welcome to Enjoyable and Effective Networking

'Networking' is one of those words that can strike fear into the bravest of heartsl

This session is for everyone who knows they should be networking but finds reasons not to.   

This course is for you if you want to build a supportive, tailor-made network for yourself, without having to 'sell yourself'.

A good network opens many doors, and fosters a sense of community.  However, the act of 'networking' gets a bad rap. People feel: 'fake'; 'I don't know how to approach it''; 'I don't want to come across as pushy'... and so on. But it doesn't have to be that way. 

We will look at both where to network and how to network.  

And how to enjoy it!

I have been producing theatre, dance, festivals and other events for over 20 years. Productions include ‘Quality’ set in a working shoe boutique; ‘Tango Walk’ at SIRF the National’s ‘Inside Out’ festival; site specific dance with Collage Dance Theatre in Los Angeles, and a 30-cast site-specific ‘King Lear’ in Dijon. I have specialised in site-specific, outdoor and interactive theatre as I am passionate about new audiences.

I founded Nordic Nomad Training to deliver business skills workshops to help creatives make a living doing what they love. I am deeply committed to nurturing emerging talent within the industry. As a trainer, I am dedicated to helping individuals realize their potential and wider career aims.
