The Essentials of Music Management is a course aiming to provide a fundamental insight into the role of a manager. Although the role of a manager can take many forms depending on their client's needs, there are essential aspects all managers should be aware of including how to build a team, the role of PRS, PPL, lawyers, accountants and insurance brokers, the MMF Code of Practice, when your act is market ready and more.

The Mechanics Of Music Management is a training programme from the MMF delivered by CMU Insights and led by Chris Cooke. A series of six units exploring best practices and current trends in artist management, together these sessions provide a comprehensive guide to artist revenue streams and business models, music rights and record deals, music publishing, fanbase building and direct-to-fan relationships, and explain where the manager fits in with each of these strands of the business.

Full price for the bundle is £590 including VAT. MMF members can claim a 50% discount, whilst other trade body members (AIM, Ivors Academy, FAC, MPA, MPG, MU) can claim 25%.
