Mon, 29 Apr 2024 14:00:00 GMT → Mon, 29 Apr 2024 18:00:00 GMT (d=4 hours, 0 seconds)

This training will provide participants with the knowledge necessary to support clients in breaking free from narcissistic abuse and to facilitate their recovery from such.

Join Monique Dauphin, LMHC, in an exploration of the cycle of NA as well as common tactics such as love-bombing and gaslighting used by abusers to foster dependency and subjugation in victims. In addition, common treatment pitfalls that can often alienate clients experiencing narcissistic abuse will be identified, and tools to help empower clients to rediscover their inherent worth and agency will be examined. Fostering resilience and facilitating meaning-making in survivors who have left NA relationships will also be explored.
