Upon completion of this training, the individual is awarded one (1) CE hours for psychologists, counselors, social workers, and therapists.
This course describes and reviews the research on the fourth level of the Gottman’s Sound Relationship House: Positive Perspective, and how it relates to “geek” relationships. This course will review the screening measures to assess the level of positive perspective in a relationship and how to apply evidence based interventions if it is lacking in the relationship. This course will focus on assessment, intervention, and diagnosis specific skills for post-doctoral and master’s level clinicians who are working with clients facing these challenges.
Learning Objectives:
- Identify two valid screening tools to assess the level of positive perspective in a relationship
- Identify two evidenced based interventions that are effective in increasing positive perspective in a relationship
- Identify two ways to use geek culture to increase positive perspective in a relationship.
