Interactive and accessible: Ofqual student-level equalities analysis
Ofqual routinely analyse how attainment gaps for students with protected characteristics and different socio-economic status vary over time.
Join us for this overview of Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual) work in analysing how attainment gaps for students with different protected characteristics and socio-economic status vary over time.
This work has involved a number of innovations:
- the creation of a matched dataset between data shared between Ofqual and DfE
- the use of multivariate analysis, to explore the impact on overall results of each variable separately while controlling for other variables, such as prior attainment, and
- the development of an accessible interactive web report to allow as many users as possible to easily navigate the findings and focus on the results they are interested in.
