The idea behind this piece of book arts is layers... peeling the layers...peeling emotional barriers... softly and gently revealing protected hidden areas.

This artists book can be half folded/rolled into a nice package with the wrapper.

THIS WORKSHOP WILL BE RECORDED so if you can't join us live you still can sign up and create it at your own convenience using the recording.

Your zoom link will be sent to you directly approximately 24h before the workshop together with the written instructions/handout. Please tune in 5min before the start.

You will need:

MATERIALS:

• 1 piece of card or thick watercolour paper 24 x 34cm (white in the sample) as a base, 160-200 gsm
• 9 pieces of blank card, 21 x 7.4cm
• 2-3 different colours /pieces of thick tissue paper/mulberry paper/thin handmade paper/translusent paper, 30 x 40cm
• 1 x A4 card, 21 x 29.8cm (wraper)
• 1m black thick linen thread
• 50 cm red thick linen thread
• 1.5m thin but strong white or red thread
• optional: stencils and acrylic paints to decorate
