Join us for a Virtual Lunch and Learn: Decision Making in Personal and Professional Life on May 16, 2024 from 12pm-1:30pm. 1.5 Social Work Ceu's Awarded! Presenter Elizabeth Robinson, MSSW, LCSW, LISW-CP/S, APHSW-C, CCTP will discuss why it’s important to talk about death and dying or unexpected events in your life that may turn things upside down? Even though these are difficult conversations to have, they are necessary in the care and service of our clients, ourselves, and those who are affected by the potential unexpected event. Avoiding doesn’t make the reality go away; it just creates work and challenges for those who are left to sort through the rubble. You prepare, plan, and document information for your house, your car, your education, and even your marriage – why not do this same process for your personal and professional life? Planning for unexpected events can be scary and overwhelming; however, preparation and communication can ease emotions and the burdens for you and others. When you think, discuss, and solidify a plan for your personal and professional life then you normalize the process and take control of decision making.
An email will be sent to you with a link to join the training after you register!
