Oulipo is the art of writing to rules, and within this workshop you will get a brief introduction to the history of Oulipo, whilst writing your own work based on random and created rules. This workshop is a great way to play with writing and find a fun way to push boundaries. Test your understanding of creative writing in this playful session!

The workshop is run by writer and visual artist Elspeth Walker, who has published various zines and writing collections, and has lots of work published elsewhere, such as Culturala Journal, SICK Magazine and Whitechapel Gallery. She has an MA in Writing at the Royal College of Art, London, and continues to develop her writing craft as an artistic practice. Elspeth works at the National Poetry Library, and at Lavender Art School, Clapham.
