Wed, 24 Apr 2024 02:00:00 GMT → Wed, 24 Apr 2024 03:30:00 GMT (d=1 hours, 30 minutes, 0 seconds)
In collaboration with My Digital TAT2, we are pleased to offer this new parent talk for parents of adolescents.
Young people are seemingly glued to their devices. But what are they actually doing on them? This workshop offers insights shared by teens themselves and aims to shift families from a fear-based approach for managing their children’s technology use towards perspectives and strategies grounded in understanding, empathy and sustainability.
- Gain a deeper understanding of what young people are facing online
- Discover ways to dialogue with young people about their digital use in an effort to understaand their perspectives
- Practice strategies alongside young people for developing a balanced, healthy relationship with technology
- Connect with other caregivers in your community facing similar challenges and gain support by sharing experiences
My Digital TAT2 is a nonprofit that addresses how to build healthy habits, critical thinking, and thoughtful online behavior in order to integrate technology into our lives in a constructive way. For more parent resources and to learn about our work, visit us at: www.mydigitaltat2.org
This is an ADULT ONLY seminar. Parents, guardians, grandparents, caregivers, and teachers are all welcome. Children do not attend.
