Description:
This live interactive training will provide mental health practitioners with essential insights into how poor sleep habits and insomnia affect health. Participants will explore sleep mechanisms, circadian rhythms, causes of insomnia, and methods for promoting healthy sleep. Discover the fundamentals of evidence-based CBT-I, recommended by the American College of Physicians. Note: This class offers an introductory overview, featuring case discussions and Q&A.

(1) CE available to NYS LCATs provided by Davenport Creative Arts Therapy, PLLC upon successful completion of training. Davenport Creative Arts Therapy is recognized by the New York State Education Department’s State Board for Mental Health Practitioners as an approved provider of continuing education for licensed creative arts therapists #CAT-0111.

- Explore options for advanced training in behavioral sleep medicine
