The group is being run by Kirsteen Wilshere who is a Spectrum Gaming parent, supported and backed by SG, and is an opportunity to share ideas and to feel supported by others with similar experiences and circumstances. This group is open to all parents/carers of registered SG members. Numbers are limited and places must be booked in advance.

This group will take place virtually via Zoom. We want the group to be welcoming and to feel safe so if there is anything we can do to help with this, please let us know either before or during the session. We all have different needs and preferences and we want to support with this as much as possible. Video calls don’t work for everyone. You will not be asked to turn your camera on or to talk and you are welcome to get involved in whatever way you are the most comfortable with. This could be by talking, using the chat function or joining just to listen.

We won’t put anyone on the spot or ask them to talk but we will do our best to make sure that everyone who wants to has a chance to speak. If you are using the chat we will make sure the comments don’t get missed. It’s fine if you join a bit late or if you need to leave during the session.
