This month we will gather to remember the ways we have been Mothered and have Mothered, through the expression of music.

For this special edition of Waves for Mothers Day, we will use the prompt - The music of our mothering. Join us to share a song that reminds you of your experience with Mothering - whatever first comes to mind! We'll be gathering these songs to create a playlist for us all. This prompt is optional.

Whether it be honoring your Mother's legacy, exercising a memory, or having others bear witness to your grief - storytelling is a powerful tool for remembrance and grieving. This is an opportunity to say something that hasn’t been said, remember out loud, or bring your Mother’s, or child's presence to the (virtual) room.

This is a place for you to bring what you’re keeping inside. Feel the power of saying your Mother or Child's name. Tell a story to an anonymous group, allowing your memories to take on new life, or tell a story that relates to your grief journey. We’re here to listen.

This is not a discussion or grief therapy but an opportunity to share on your lost loved one in whatever way feels right.
